Amazon Kindle Fire & Touch Get November 15 Release Date

Amazon Kindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Touch 3G and the Kindle Fire Now On Sale In The US

Amazon's Kindle Fire has been widely acclaimed by Gizmodo and the New York Times as the first tablet to fiercely compete with the iPad 2 while maintaining an affordable price of just $199. Come November 15, this stunning tablet together with others in its family such as the Kindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Touch 3G and the Kindle Fire will become available via 16,000 locations across the US, from retail stores such as Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Staples, Sam’s Club, RadioShack, Office Depot, etc for $79, $99, $149 and $199 respectively.

Also on that date, all existing Kindle preorders via Amazon's online store will be shipped.

With Wi-Fi turned off, Amazon's Touch has the best of battery life lasting up to about 2 months. If I were to get one, I would personally stick with the Kindle Fire 'cause I  can't really stand the sight of a black and white hi-tech mobile device in this day and age.
