HTC EVO 3D Android SmartPhone Launched In Taiwan
The Taiwan based smartphone company, High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) just yesterday unleashed its first 3D Android smartphone on the local market. Released just a month ago, the HTC EVO 3D is seen as HTC's response to the LG Optimus 3D P920 which made an earlier debut.
The HTC EVO 3D smartphone features Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread) on a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor + Adreno 220 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8660 chipset with a 4.3-inch 3D LCD capacitive touchscreen and 5 MP camera that allows for the shooting of stereoscopic photos as well as 2D and 3D video recording at 720p@30fps. Mobile game addicts would be happy with its 3D gaming function.
Internet connectivity on this mobile device is insanely fast at speeds of 14.4 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload. In zones/countries without 3G, the phone should still be able to load web pages comfortably at a whopping 560 kbps via EDGE connection.
Price has been fixed somewhere in the range of Tw$21,900 ($760) and full features of the HTC EVO 3D smartphone are available at GSM Arena.
