How I Prevent and Get Rid of Razor Bumps – Ingrown Hairs

How_To_Clear_Razor_Bumps.001

For many years since I started shaving, I dreaded shaving my beards as razor bumps would always take over my chin area and turn into huge painful cysts that sometimes never go away no matter what I did. Eventually I got to learn a few tips and tricks here and there about dealing with black curly hair and they have helped me immensely.

Just like acne never goes away completely for those of us with true oily acne prone skin, I do still get razor bumps and ingrown hairs once in a while but there have been markedly reduced.

In a nut shell, double exfoliating and shaving in the direction of hair growth have helped immensely and I go into detail in the video below. There’s also a demo thrown in to show you guys what it means to shave in the direction of hair growth.

I hope you enjoy the video. Bye guys.

P.S: Any glycolic acid or salicylic acid product will do just fine. You don’t have to specifically get the ones I mentioned in this video. Just make sure the concentration of glycolic acid stays at or below 7% and salicylic acid stays at or below 2%
