Hey guys this is Chuks from Patchwork Of Tips, welcome to my YouTube Channel. If you are new to this Channel, do please kindly click the subscribe button and also click on the notification bell icon so you don’t miss an update. I post new videos Mondays or Fridays.

Today I’ll be doing a quick review of the fragrance free, Altruist Dermatologist Sunscreen which has an SPF of 50 and a UVA-PF 5 Boots Star rating which translates to a UVA-PF of 45+.

The sunscreen comes in packs of 2 for £7.50. Each tube has 100ml of content.

The texture is quite silky but takes time to blend into the skin. You’d be needing a minimum of 5 minutes to rub this sunscreen in and that’s 5 minutes per body part.

Just make sure to stick to the required amount of sunscreen per body part or you’ll end up with a visible white cast and excess product in skin creases.

With regards to ocular tolerance, it stings for like 5 – 10 mins then dissipates only to sting again 8-9 hours later. Very weird stuff I tell you.

As you may have noticed, it leaves a greasy finish so you’d be needing a mattifying powder or primer. It tends to ball up when I apply the Max Factor Miracle Prep Primer over it but works fine with the Rimmel London Stay Matte primer.

In summary this offers high UVA/UVB protection but requires a lot of time to massage well into the skin and this might not go down well with those with irritated actively peeling skin.

I hope this review was helpful. Please don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel and give it a thumbs up. Do have a great week ahead.
