If you own a wap based mobile website and use AdMob’s services to show mobile ads on your site, the time has come to move to Google Adsense ’cause as from the 30th of September 2011, those ads will stop showing. For those running mobile sites made for high-end mobile devices like the iPhone or Android, AdMob ads will still work but not for long after the deadline.
This new development was announced on the 2nd of September 2011 via Google Mobile Ads Blog. Self-hosted wordpress bloggers looking to show ads to all their mobile visitors should endeavor to read How To Setup Google Adsense For Mobile Content For WordPress.

The CPM of admob is horrible. Some times less than 1 cent. (I served more than a few million views a month). Adsense will ban you without even giving you a reason. Like a girlfriend who breaks up and does not even tell you why, not even a clue. Adsense has no phone number to contact, takes weeks to respond and that too in abstract cut and paste language. Hoping things improve! By the way, iAds is performing a lot better with a much better fill rate.
Unfortunately Web publishers can’t use iAds. Only app developers.
